California Consumer Privacy Act Update

Don’t forget! Effective January 1, 2020, all agents must give their clients the new California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) disclosure form. The form details what personal information you and your broker may collect, its purpose and use, along with links to the company’s privacy policy and op-out requests. The disclosure must be provided in every transaction to all buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants that you represent, and their signatures are required. This is now a mandatory transaction form. You can access this form via CB |One and in our ZipForms database.
