A big win happened in the South Hills office this week and it all took place virtually.
Lynn Dempsey had an appointment in a competitive listing opportunity. Given CDC guidelines and concerns about being exposed and exposing others, Lynn reached out to the sellers prior to the appointment to offer that the presentation take place virtually.
Instead of an in-person appointment, she held a virtual one. She had the seller send her extra pictures of the home, a short video, and asked questions to get a better idea of their sellers’ home and situation. She had done her “homework”: created a Moxi listing presentation and reviewed the marketing advantages of Listing Concierge – which she then emailed to the sellers. They discussed not only the comps, but also the current circumstances with showings, staging, and making the house more “show” ready.
All went very well – but the competition from another brokerage was presenting in-person later that afternoon. Following their in-person meeting with the other brokerage, the sellers called Lynn to tell her that they would be listing with Lynn!
We encourage you to make good choices for the safety of you and your clients and know that everyone’s health is the most important thing, period. During those circumstances when a seller MUST move, there is still the opportunity to do so – and to receive incredibly caring and high quality service. Be creative. Use FaceTime, Microsoft Teams, Google Hangouts, Zoom Meetings, or whatever your preferred method is to offer the safest option for a “face to face” meeting with your clients. You never know; showing caution could show potential clients just how much you are prepared to care for them.
